Information Sessions for New & Expecting Parents
Our live and prerecorded information sessions, led by members of our Perinatal Support Services team, are designed to guide you through every step of your birthing experience鈥攆rom arriving at the hospital to postpartum recovery and returning home.
The prerecorded session Ready, Set, Baby! is available through our . To find it, search for 鈥淩eady, Set, Baby!鈥� and select the location where you鈥檒l be delivering鈥擬anhattan, Brooklyn, or Long Island.
If you鈥檙e delivering at NYU Langone鈥擬anhattan, we also offer a live virtual information session with a question and answer session at the end.
What to Expect When Delivering at NYU Langone鈥檚 Health-Tisch Manhattan Campus
Whether you鈥檙e weeks or months away from delivery, this class, hosted by our obstetrics (OB) navigator, is here to help you feel informed, empowered, and supported every step of the way. In this session, you鈥檒l learn about what to expect from admission through postpartum recovery, how to prepare for labor and delivery, what support looks like from our care team, and tips for navigating your hospital stay comfortably. There will be time at the end for questions and answers, and helpful resources will be provided. A support person is always welcome to join.

What to Expect When Heading Home from the Family Care Suite (Postpartum) at Tisch Manhattan Campus
This class, offered during pregnancy and postpartum, will help you feel informed, confident, and supported as you prepare to bring your baby home. In this session, you鈥檒l review important information about being discharged from the hospital postpartum and feel reassured that you鈥檙e ready for this next stage in your journey with your newborn. A support person is welcome to join.
