As an interventional radiologist at NYU Langone, I am dedicated to making a positive impact on my patients’ lives through minimally invasive procedures. My passion for medicine stems from the ability to help people and achieve excellent outcomes using the latest technology. I joined NYU Langone in 2019, and I am proud to be part of a team that prioritizes patient wellness and safety.

I specialize in a variety of interventional radiology procedures, including the treatment of bleeding disorders with angiography, local treatment of tumors, clot removal, aspirations of fluid collections, drain placements, and image-guided biopsies. With extensive training in radiology from the University of Texas San Antonio and a specialty in interventional radiology from Mass General Hospital in Boston, I bring a wealth of expertise to my practice.

Throughout my career, I have focused on staying at the forefront of technology and collaborating with my colleagues to provide the highest level of care. My work involves using advanced imaging techniques to guide minimally invasive procedures, ensuring precise and effective treatment for a range of conditions. This approach not only improves patient outcomes but also enhances their overall experience by reducing recovery times and minimizing discomfort.

My journey into medicine began in Colombia, where I was inspired by the potential to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
