I specialize in neurosurgery and treating skull base tumors, as well as conditions involving the ears, eyes, nose, and back of the head. While my primary focus is on tumors such as meningiomas, pituitary adenomas, and schwannomas, I also address issues related to blood vessels and cysts. My life's work revolves around advancing less invasive treatment methods, including minimally invasive and endoscopic surgeries, while also exploring alternative treatments to potentially avoid surgery altogether.

With nearly two decades of experience in skull base surgery and a significant role in developing modern, minimally invasive techniques, I am equipped to tailor treatments to meet the specific needs of each patient. My research delves into tumor genetics and molecular origins, contributing valuable insights into treatment strategies for rare tumors like chordomas and chondrosarcomas. My work has also explored the patterns of common tumors influenced by high-dose hormone treatments, such as progesterone-driven meningiomas.

From the moment I was introduced to medicine in college, I felt an unwavering passion for the field. The seamless integration of scientific study with the art of healing captivated me, propelling me into a career where I could merge my skills and knowledge to help others. During medical school, my fascination with the nervous system led me to specialize in neurosurgery. The complexities and mysteries of the nervous system, fundamental to human life, continue to inspire me. My background as a musician instilled in me the importance of working with my hands, and I naturally gravitated towards tumor care within neurosurgery.
